Some Tips to Remain Healthy and Strong
- Chew one clove of garlic in the morning on empty stomach.
- Sip a glass of lemon (half piece) juice with a common salt in the morning.
- Chew a piece of chebulic myrobalan (haritaki) after meals.
- Always take some fruits like apple, papaya, grapes, etc. at noon.
- Make a habit of sipping a glass of lemon juice with common salt after returning back from office or work in the evening.
- Do physical exercises like Yoga, pranayam, brisk walk, playing games, etc. minimum for 30 – 45 minutes daily in the morning or evening.
- Take half cooked vegetable meal in the evening such as some potatoes, cabbage, carrots, beans, etc.; always eat before 8 p.m. so that the digestive organs can perform its function effectively during the night.
- Take adequate amount of water during the day; this helps purify your blood and smoothen the digestion process.
- Try to take more alkaline food items like onion, radish, carrot, turnip, etc. with plentiful salad in your meals; ensure that the food you are taking is fibrous, not fatty.
- Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy and wise; so sleep earlier and wake up earlier.
