The major fountain of knowledge in Ayurveda is the Atharvaved, viz. the fourth series of the Vedas. So, it is not only the science for healing and treatment at the level of body and mind dimensions, but at a spiritual dimension too. As the Atharvaved is the purest voice of God, so the medicines and healing techniques mentioned in it are purely the spiritual and natural ones, which can even cure at the level of soul. For natural healing of the diseases of various kinds, the knowledge of Ayurveda can easily be utilized and assimilated in daily life.
As human life is a perfect co-ordination of the soul, mind, senses, and body, Ayurveda can be used as a form of lifestyle to maintain and bring a perfection and balance within the human existence at the bodily, mental, and spiritual levels. As famous proverb goes, “A healthy mind and body is a temple for our soul,” A hale and hearty body assists us to attain this union of our soul. Therefore, we can say that Ayurveda can extend its helping hands in the process of harnessing our soul with God.
In a nut shell, Ayurveda rewards us with a unique amalgam of both the healing science and the Vedic philosophy, resulting in the equilibrium of the physical, mental, and spiritual dimensions.
