Twisting

Procedure
  • Stand up straight—in an upright position—with both feet joined together and arms by your sides, i.e. Saral Tadasan.
  • Keep a distance of about 2.5-3 feet between the two feet.
  • As you inhale (Radhey), raise the hands sideways, keeping the arms parallel to the floor.
  • Now standing firmly on the floor, exhale (Krishna) and twist to the right side without bending the right hand.
  • Simultaneously, bend the left hand to move it closer to the chest; then turn the head rightward and look at the right fingers.
  • Now return to the centre while inhaling (Radhey) and repeat the same process leftward.
  • Slowly, speed up to your comfort.
  • Perform it for 25 rounds.
  • Make sure twisting is done above the waist and the legs remain outstretched throughout.
  • Then, decrease the speed and and come to a standstill.
  • Finally, come into Shithil Tadasan and relax.
